Speaker FAQs

What is MEMC-GREAT?

The American Academy of Emergency Medicine (AAEM) has conducted an international emergency medicine meeting in the Mediterranean region every odd year since 2001. In this 8th iteration, they have partnered with the Italy-based GREAT – The Global Research on Acute Conditions Team and the Mediterranean Academy of Emergency Medicine (MEMC) to organize MEMC-GREAT 2015.

The objective of MEMC-GREAT 2015 Joint Congresses is to develop emergency medicine physicians across the Mediterranean basin by supporting EM pioneers and leaders, endorsing proper standards, providing training and education in emergency medicine, as well as promoting proper access and services for emergency patients around the “Big Blue.”
